Processing times vary depending on the visa type and country of application. Most standard applications take 3–8 weeks, but some services offer faster processing for an additional fee. 


In many cases, yes. For example, you may be able to switch from a Student Visa to a Skilled Worker Visa, or from a Partner Visa to Indefinite Leave to Remain. However, some visa routes require you to leave the UK to apply.
